Bhopal: Nearly 3,000 junior doctors in Madhya Pradesh are on strike over their demands. Junior doctors have demanded that the government bear the cost of treatment them and their families if they are infected with corona while working.
MP Junior Doctors Association President Arvind Meena quoted the media as saying that his members are not working on outpatient departments (OPD), in-patient departments (IPD) and other health facilities today. Arvind Meena also said that if a written order is not issued by the government on our demands by this evening, we will stop corona duty across the state from June 1. Junior doctors demand that bed reserves be kept in different areas for junior doctors engaged in treating corona infected people, if they are corona infected at the time of duty, they can get treatment at the right time.
Junior doctors also demand that the government provide free treatment to doctors as well as their families. Doctors have also demanded hike in their salary. Junior doctors said their union consists of about 3,000 members of 6 medical colleges.
