JAIPUR: Kharge and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, key figures from the Congress party, are scheduled to conduct rallies today in Rajasthan, which is gearing up for its Assembly elections in less than a week.

Mallikarjun Kharge, spearheading the party's campaign in the five-state Assembly elections, will be addressing two public gatherings in Rajasthan. His itinerary includes engagements at Anupgarh Assembly constituency at 12 noon, followed by another session at 2 p.m. in Hanumangarh Assembly seat.

Priyanka Gandhi, another prominent Congress leader, is also slated to hold two public meetings in the state. She will speak at the Kekri area at noon and later at 1:30 p.m. in Jahajpur area.

The impending polling for the 200-member Assembly is set for November 25, with the conclusion of campaigning on November 23 evening.

The Congress party is vying for a second consecutive term in Rajasthan, aiming to break a three-decade-old trend of the incumbent government being voted out. With the announcement of seven guarantees for the state and leveraging their pro-people initiatives, the Congress is hopeful of retaining power.
Rajasthan, India's largest state by area, is gearing up for Assembly polls scheduled on November 25. The BJP and Congress have conducted vigorous campaigns in an attempt to secure their respective voter bases.

Historically, Rajasthan has been a swing state, often witnessing a shift in power between the BJP and Congress after each election. As a result, the current Congress government, led by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, might be experiencing moments of unease and sleepless nights leading up to the polls.
