The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE) in Kerala has officially unveiled the examination schedule for the Kerala Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) and Higher Secondary Examination (HSC) for the year 2023. These crucial board examinations are poised to commence on specific dates, as per the recently released timetable.

Kerala SSLC Examination 2023:

The Kerala SSLC examinations for 2023 are scheduled to kick off on March 4th, marking the initiation of this pivotal academic assessment. To accommodate the various subjects covered within SSLC, the examination timings are differentiated. The exams will commence at 9:30 AM for some subjects and at 11:15 AM for others. Similarly, some subjects will conclude at 12:15 PM.

Kerala HSE Examination 2023:

Concurrently, the Kerala Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) for 2023 is slated to commence on March 1st, 2023. Students pursuing Plus Two education in the state will be expected to demonstrate their knowledge and skills through these examinations, which span a wide array of subjects.

Practical Examinations and Timetable Details:

For Class 12 students in Kerala, practical examinations will be a critical component of their academic journey. These practicals will be assessed, commencing on January 22, 2024, as confirmed by the board. Subjects without practical components will be examined from 9:30 AM to 12:15 PM, with a brief 15-minute break in between. However, it is important to note that with the exception of biology and music, subjects with practical components will conclude at 11:45 AM. Biology and music students must be attentive to the extended examination time, with their tests concluding at 11:55 AM.

Model Examinations and Further Information:

To aid students in their preparation, the Kerala board has also scheduled model examinations. For Kerala Plus Two students, these model exams will be held in two sessions, both forenoon and afternoon, from February 15 to February 21, 2024. Simultaneously, Kerala SSLC model examinations for 2024 are set to take place from February 19 to February 23, providing valuable practice opportunities for the impending board examinations.
