Kannauj: After recovering cash worth crores from the house of Uttar Pradesh's perfume businessman Piyush Jain, now the DGGI team has conducted another major raid in Kannauj. The DGGI team has raided the house of Malik Mian, one of the big businessmen of Kannauj. The action of DGGI is going on in the house of Malik Mian located in Sadar Kotwali area of Kannauj.
Quoting sources, information has been received that a team of seven to eight people of DGGI has reached owner Mian's residence early this morning. As of now, it is not known what the GST team found in the raids. Also, the information about whether Malik Mian has any relation with Piyush Jain has also not been revealed. It is being told that Malik Mian is one of the old businessmen of Kannauj and he also has a business of perfume. Malik has raided many places including Kannauj, Noida, Kanpur. Three teams are conducting searches at different places simultaneously.
At the same time, the Directorate General of GST Intelligence (DGGI), while denying the news that a huge amount of 197.47 crores recovered from perfume trader Piyush Jain as turnover, has termed these reports as fictional and baseless. DGGI has said that nothing like this has been done and further investigation is going on. Let us tell you that if Piyush Jain's turnover is really 197 crores, then after deducting 52 crores from this amount, the rest will be returned to Piyush.
