New Delhi: Another incident of love jihad has come to light from the country's capital Delhi. A woman working in the IT sector here has accused a man named Mohammad Imran of raping her. The woman said that she also got divorced from her husband due to the death threat given by Imran. The Delhi Police registered a complaint in this case on November 29, 2022. The victim has described herself as very scared and said that the culprit has not been arrested yet. A complaint of this incident has been lodged at the Maidan Garhi police station of Delhi Police. In the complaint, the victim stated that her friendship with Imran was 11 years old. The two met in Noida regarding coaching. In the year 2018, she gets married to a young man named Abhishek. Meanwhile, Imran maintained a friendship with her. After some time, the victim's husband Abhishek gets a job in Bihar and then Imran starts talking about love with her.

In the complaint given, the woman alleged that after a short time, Imran started pressuring her to leave her husband and marry her. Due to this, he also threatened to kill the victim if she did not do so. On June 12, 2021, Imran came to her Chhatarpur Delhi home. Here he forcibly raped the victim without any desire. When the woman cried and protested, he promised to marry her and make her his wife. Due to this, Imran stayed at her house for about 4 days. The woman said that she filed a divorce petition from her husband in Delhi's Saket court in September 2021 due to pressure and fear of Mohammad Imran. During this, Imran kept calling the victim to meet her in the Qutub Minar area. In December 2021, the victim shifted her house from Chhatarpur in Delhi and took over her own house in the Palam Vihar area. Imran also found this house. Here too, he came and raped her. According to the victim, this process continued.

In the meantime, as soon as the divorce between the husband and wife was confirmed, Imran blocked her. Imran hasn't met her since then. According to the victim, Imran is a resident of Meerut. He works in R Systems, an IT company based in Noida's Sector 59. It is alleged that even after the FIR was lodged, the company did not remove him from the job. While talking to the media, the victim said that she was first run by the police in different police stations in the name of FIR. Later, more than 20 days after the case was filed, no action has been taken against Imran. The victim said Imran would often ask her to wear a burqa and send her photos. The victim said that earlier she did not believe in Hindu-Muslim, but now she feels that a gang is targeting Hindu girls. The police have registered a case under sections 376 (2) and 506 of the IPC. The victim sent her WhatsApp chat with Imran. In this chat, Imran is telling her to stop by giving her an excuse for his sisters' marriage. Imran said that after some time he would take her to Bangalore. He had also requested the victim not to post any posts about their relationship on social media etc.
