Jaipur: A professor of Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) has demanded physical relations with a student in exchange for passing the examination. An objectionable audio related to this case has surfaced. It is being told that this audio is of the professor. In which the professor is talking with a middleman student and asking her to convey his point to the students. The BTech student has filed a complaint against associate professor Girish Parmar in this case.
In her complaint to the police, the student of Rajasthan Technical University Kota said that the professor was pressuring her to have physical relations. If she did not do so, the professor threatened to fail her. The student alleged that if the demand was not completed, the professor threatened to fail her and ruin her career. The student has also alleged in her complaint that the professor had conspired to fail her. After this, there was pressure to form a relationship.
The B.Tech student has lodged an FIR at Dadabari police station. The complaint states that through his classmate Arpit, Professor Girish Parmar had sent a message that if she wanted to pass the test, she should have a relationship with him. When the student did not listen to him, the professor tried to deceive the other students. It is alleged that the professor uses Arpit as a means to put pressure on the students. Arpit then pretends to be a middleman and asks them to have a physical relationship with Professor Parmar.
The complainant, as soon as she gathered courage, told this to her friend. After this, she also informed her family about the matter. DSP Amar Singh has said that the student has lodged a complaint at Dadabari police station. The student has said that she is being tortured and pressured to have physical relations. An investigation has been launched into the matter. There is resentment among students against the associate professor of Rajasthan Technical University (RTU).
Angry students have demanded the dismissal of Professor Girish Parmar. The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has threatened to close the Rajasthan Technical University on Thursday. ABVP officials reached Dadabari police station and met the CI and demanded immediate action. All ABVP activists will meet the Vice-Chancellor and university professor at Rajasthan Technical University and discuss the incident. At the same time, BJYM also protested against this incident at the university. The protesters have threatened to stage a sit-in protest at the university if he is not dismissed within 24 hours.
