Jerusalem: Israeli forces conducted an airstrike on a compound located beneath the al-Ansar Mosque in the Jenin refugee camp in the occupied West Bank. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) stated that the compound was allegedly being used by Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad to plan and carry out terrorist attacks.
As Israel prepares for an escalation of its operations in the Gaza Strip, U.S. President Joe Biden welcomed the arrival of 20 aid trucks to Gaza and expressed Washington's commitment to facilitating more assistance through the Rafah border crossing. The Palestinian health ministry reported that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has reached 4,469, while 1,400 people were killed in Hamas attacks on Israel.
