Dehradun: The pilgrimage of Sikhs to Shri Hemkund Sahib, located in Chamoli, Uttarakhand, is going to start from May 20.The army has cleared the way till Hemkund by clearing the snow. Along with this army team, a team of 11 servicemen under the leadership of Sardar Gurunam Singh has reached Hemkund on Friday afternoon. This team of sevadars will descend from Hemkund on Saturday and start the work of removing snow from the footpath. Seva Singh, manager of Govindghat Gurdwara, has informed that there is still a large amount of snow on the pedestrian route.
