Jaipur: A case of selling Pakistani-made toffees has come to light in Rajasthan's Udaipur district, after which there has been a stir in the police department. According to the report, toffees made of beef gelatin are being sold openly just 50 meters away from the police control room in the city. As soon as the incident was reported, a team of medical and health department and food inspectors reached the spot on Wednesday and these toffees have been seized and sent for investigation. According to the report, this toffee was ordered from Pakistan and is being sold in many shops in the city. After getting this information, the department is now investigating many other shops in the city.

According to media reports, on Wednesday, people complained about the sale of toffees with 'Made in Pakistan' written on them in Udaipur market, after which a team of food inspectors reached the chocolate and birthday decoration items shop located at Dehli Gate square, where 3 packets of such toffees were found. According to the report, 'Made in Pakistan' is written on the packets of these toffee being sold in the Udaipur market. A shopkeeper of the market has informed the media that he has been importing this toffee from Mumbai for a long time and from this shop, this toffee is also supplied to other shops.

At the same time, recently some locals protested against the sale of Pakistani toffees and the presence of beef gelatin in them, after which the shopkeeper also demanded a ban on its sale. The packet of toffee has 'Manufactured by Ismail Industry Limited C-230' written on it as the address, HITE Hub, Balochistan, Pakistan. At the same time, the rest of the information on the packet is written in the Urdu language. Apart from this, the red mark on the top of the packet has been reported to be a non-veg toffee.

According to the report, the name of this toffee is 'Chili-Milli', which is priced at Rs 20. CMHO Dr. RL Bamaniya has said that beef gelatin is written on the packet of toffee, which is believed to be made from the fat or meat of an animal and the matter is being investigated seriously.
