Noida: A case of shooting dead a car-borne youth in Greater Noida West adjoining Delhi has come to light. Police have seized the body and sent it for postmortem. The Aadhaar card found with the youth identified the youth as Manjit Singh, a resident of a space apartment. The deceased is said to be a history-sheeter.
According to reports, a youth riding a car was shot dead late at night near a statue roundabout in Bisrakh police station area of Greater Noida. Police from Bisrakh police station who rushed to the spot after receiving information about the incident conducted an inquiry and rushed the body of the deceased for postmortem. The Aadhaar card recovered from the deceased identified him as Manjit Singh, a resident of Space Apartment, Noida. According to police, the youth who was drinking together in the car has been charged with murder.
Two glasses of wine and bottles were also recovered from the car. Police are investigating the case. A car was reportedly parked late at night near a statue roundabout in Greater Noida West. Police received reports that a young man in the car was shot dead. Kotwali Bisrakh police reached the spot and launched an investigation. According to police, two persons were drinking in the car. It is feared that the youth sitting with the deceased Manjit Singh in the car shot him dead. The family members of the deceased have been informed about the incident. The car rider is said to be the accomplice of the deceased absconding since the incident. Police are on the lookout for him. According to police, the deceased Manjeet was also a history-sheeter.
