Dehradun: After the film The Kerala Story, which brought the conspiracies of Islamic conversion into the limelight, many victims themselves have come forward and told how they were brainwashed by a 'Muslim friend'. Meanwhile, a case has come to the fore from Uttarakhand which is attracting everyone's attention. Here a Hindu girl has sought permission from the Uttarakhand High Court to offer Namaz at Piran Kaliyar Dargah, as well as security. While allowing this, the High Court has directed the Haridwar Police to make necessary arrangements for her security. The matter was taken up for hearing on Thursday (May 11).
According to reports, the 22-year-old Bhavna, who filed the petition demanding prayers at Piran Kaliyar Dargah, is originally from Neemuch district of Madhya Pradesh. Who has a young friend named Farman, 35 years old from Haridwar. Both had filed a petition in the Uttarakhand High Court. A bench of Justice Manoj Kumar Tiwari and Justice Pankaj Purohit heard this petition.
During the hearing, the judges asked the girl that when she has not converted and is a Hindu, why does she want to offer Namaz? To this the girl replied, 'Because she is impressed by the Dargah and wants to offer Namaz there.' The girl has also told the court that both have neither married nor does she want to change her religion. She is a follower of Hinduism and wants to offer prayers at Kaliyar Dargah without any fear or coercion.
After this, the court allowed the girl and her friend Farman to offer prayers at the dargah. Along with this, the court also directed the Haridwar police to make arrangements for their security. The High Court has also said that before going to offer Namaz, the girl has to inform the SHO of the police station concerned by writing a letter, so that he can provide security. The court has fixed the next hearing of the case on May 22.
In fact, in her petition, Bhavna had asked Hinduist organizations to provide security to herself and her family by directing the Collector and SSP of Haridwar to provide security to herself and her family. Both Bhavna and Farman work together in a pharma company in Haridwar.
