Amravati: The havoc of heavy rains in Andhra Pradesh is not going to stop. After the devastation caused by the floods caused by torrential rains last week, the situation was not yet normal when the India Meteorological Department has issued an alert. According to the Met department, heavy to very heavy rainfall has been predicted with lightning at different places in SCAP and Rayalaseema in Andhra Pradesh on Saturday and Sunday.
According to reports, 16 people drowned in the recent floods in Kadpa district of Andhra Pradesh are yet to be traced and the state government had said on Friday that 44 others had lost their lives in the floods. Taking suo motu cognizance of the assembly, CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy made a statement on the flood and subsequent relief measures taken by the state government.
