Udaipur: Sudden rains have changed the weather in Udaipur, Rajasthan since Saturday evening. The entire city has come under fog. At the same time, many areas of Udaipur city also received snowfall along with heavy rains. Due to this, a thick sheet of snow was laid on the roads. This sudden rain has increased the cold even more.  

The severe cold started from the last week of December and almost persisted till now. Udaipur recorded the coldest night of the season on January 15 with a temperature of 2 degrees Celsius. On the same day, the temperature in the plains was recorded at minus 4.6 degrees. The cold wave first began with severe cold, followed by Lake City last Tuesday (January 24) in the presence of heavy fog. There was a fog that visibility was just 10 meters. At the same time, this fog was seen in the weather till 12 noon.

On Saturday evening, the rain of Mawth started with lightning in Udaipur. The rain, which started at 6.43 pm, lasted for about 10 minutes. The rain will increase the cold once again, but after this, the temperature will increase and the effect of winter in February will gradually decrease. Due to the western disturbance, there was a possibility of change in weather in the state after January 26 and heavy rains in many districts. On Saturday, although Udaipur saw bright sunshine, in the evening, the rain of Mawth started with a sudden change in weather. According to information received from the Meteorological Department Dabok, the maximum temperature on Saturday was 24.4 degrees and the minimum temperature was 6.1 degrees.
