Wenesday;June 8,2016:AtPanaji's Mapusa town ,after an acid attack ,a 16 year old girl and her grandmother were hurt ,the attack was done by an nameless person in.

Mahesh Gaonkar, the Deputy Superintendent of Police said, "The girl and her grandmother were asleep inside their home when an unknown person threw acid on them through the window".

Girl and her grandmother sustained burn injuries and they were hurried to district hospital.

"We are investigating the case.The suspects are being rounded up. The accused will be arrested soon," Gaonkar said.

The wounded live in Guirim village, situated on the outskirts of Mapusa town.
