Mumbai: Ganesh Handore, the son of senior Congress leader and Maharashtra MP Chandrakant Handore, was arrested by Mumbai Police on Saturday following an incident where his car struck a pedestrian in the Govandi suburb of Chembur.
The victim, identified as Gopal Aarote, was walking along the road when Handore's vehicle collided with him from behind. Aarote sustained head injuries and was promptly taken to a nearby hospital for urgent medical care. Fortunately, his condition is now reported as stable as he continues to receive treatment.
Following the accident, Ganesh Handore was arrested; however, he experienced a sudden spike in blood sugar levels due to a pre-existing medical condition shortly after his arrest. Consequently, he was admitted to JJ Hospital for further medical attention.
