New Delhi: French President Emmanuel Macron has accepted an invitation to be the chief guest at India's Republic Day celebrations on January 26. A contingent from the French Army is set to participate in this year's Republic Day. Emmanuel Macron, during his 2-day tour, will visit Delhi and Jaipur. The visit will commence with a roadshow in Jaipur on January 25, featuring Macron and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

A bilateral meeting is likely between the two leaders, where major announcements are expected in the defense and strategic sectors.
