The use of smartphones is increasing day by day and along with making people's lives easier, it is also having a bad effect on their health. Youngsters, old people, and children are all getting addicted to smartphones. Seeing the danger of smartphone addiction in children, France has taken an important step.

France's smartphone ban

The French government has banned the use of smartphones in schools. Now children aged 15 years or less will not be allowed to use smartphones in schools and colleges. This ban also includes tablets and other electronic communication devices.

Discount rules

This ban will apply during school hours and extracurricular activities. However, if a student needs the device for medical or health needs, it may be allowed. For this, the school will have to clarify under what circumstances and in what places this will be allowed.

Aids in the development of children

This step taken by the French government can prove to be beneficial for children. Experts say that smartphones are creating many obstacles in people's lives, such as affecting physical development, mental stability, and time spent outside. In such a situation, keeping children away from smartphones can be better for their development.
