New Delhi: Asoul-shaking incident has come to light from Delhi, the capital of De Sh. The body of an elderly couple has been recovered from their house in East Delhi's Nirman Vihar area. Both the victims had been living alone in their house for the past 14 years. They have been identified as Inderjit Sinha Talwar (80 years) and Savita Talwar (75 years). According to information provided by the police, a PCR call was received at Thana Preet Vihar on Friday morning. Pramod Kumar Talwar, who made the call, said his brother and sister-in-law live in Nirman Vihar (first floor) and they are not opening the door. The police, who reached the spot after this information, saw that the door was locked from inside. After this, with the help of the fire department team, the door was broken, where the bodies of the two elderly people were lying in the room.
At present, the crime team has reached the spot and conducted an inspection and has taken the bodies of the deceased into custody and sent them to the mortuary. The police are taking statements of neighbours and relatives. DCP Priyanka Kashyap said that in the preliminary investigation, the case appears to be of normal death. However, the police are also investigating from the angle of suicide.
