Hyderabad: Due to a low pressure in the Bay of Bengal, heavy rain is falling in many coastal districts of Andhra Pradesh. In light of the severe weather, State Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has instructed the authorities to be vigilant and take appropriate steps. Heavy rains have caused a flood-like condition in several low-lying locations.

Since Thursday morning, the districts of Nellur, Chittoor, and Kadapa have been inundated by rain. Other districts are also experiencing heavy rain. Depression is also wreaking havoc in the districts of Chittoor, Kadapa, and Nellur. Waterlogging has occurred in some of these districts' low-lying regions. River canals may be found all along the river. Routes have also been inundated, and in several regions, roads have been closed off owing to high water levels, creating significant delays in people's mobility.

The city of Tirupati has been flooded as a result of the continuous rainfall. There is also a significant flow of water on the ghat road going to Lord Venkateswara Swami's temple at Tirumala, which is causing a lot of troubles for pilgrims owing to falling rock pieces in numerous areas.
