Dehradun: Air, road, and rail traffic has been affected due to fog in Uttarakhand. Because of this, two-morning flights between Delhi and Dehradun were not possible on Wednesday. Here, the Railways have also canceled many long-distance trains coming to Haridwar till February. The road traffic time has also increased due to the slow speed of the vehicles.

Two flights to land at Jollygrant airport on Wednesday morning couldn't arrive. In this, the Indigo flight from Delhi to Dehradun at 7 am and the Alliance Air flight at 7.30 am was canceled. On the other hand, Pantnagar airport director Sumit Saxena said that the Indigo flight coming from Delhi to Pantnagar reached on its scheduled time. By 11 o'clock the weather had cleared and there was no problem with visibility.

Janta Express, Lokmanya Tilak-Haridwar, Prayagraj-Rishikesh, and Kumbh Express have been canceled till February 28 due to fog in Haridwar. Apart from this, Ganganagar Express has been canceled between Haridwar to Saharanpur till 28 February. More than 30 pairs of trains are operating via Roorkee. Chandigarh-Patliputra, Jammu-Kolkata, Udaipur-Rishikesh, Lucknow-Chandigarh, and Janshatabdi, etc. trains are running late by two to 11.5 hours from their scheduled time. Every day five to seven trains passing through Roorkee railway station get late. According to the Haldwani team, the Bagh Express running between Kathgodam and Howrah has been delayed by about 4 hours.
