Firozabad: In Uttar Pradesh, a vaccination drive is also being carried out on a war footing to deal with the global epidemic corona virus. However, a large number of people are still avoiding further confusion over the corona virus vaccination. In Firejabad, the district administration has taken a major decision to provide speedy corona virus vaccination to the people.
An official said here on Wednesday that in order to encourage corona vaccination, the district administration has ordered that government employees will not get salary unless they are vaccinated. Chief Development Officer Charchit Gaur has informed that DM Chandra Vijay Singh has issued an oral order for no vaccination or no salary. He said that as per the order, if an employee does not take the covid vaccine, the department will initiate action and withhold his salary for the month of May.
He said instructions have been issued to the district treasurer and other departmental heads to implement the order and to ensure vaccination by making a list. CDO said employees are now trying to get themselves a corona virus vaccine for fear that their salaries may not be stopped.
