Guntur: Four family members were killed in a car accident on the national highway in Andhra Pradesh's Krishna district on Monday. The victims have been identified as Swaminathan (40) from Tamil Nadu, and his children Rakesh (12), Radhapriya (14), and Gopi (23). Swaminathan's wife, Sathy (28), was severely injured and has been taken to Vijayawada Government Hospital for treatment.
The family was traveling from Kovvur to Tamil Nadu when their car collided with a lorry near a petrol pump in Krishna district.
Upon receiving information about the incident, the police rushed to the scene. The road was cleared promptly to prevent any further traffic congestion. The Highway Patrol team is also assisting in the investigation.
A case has been registered, and the police are conducting a thorough investigation to determine the exact cause of the crash.
