Jaipur: In a tragic incident early on Sunday, five policemen lost their lives, and two others sustained injuries in Churu district, Rajasthan. The fatal collision occurred when their vehicle collided with a parked truck in the Sujangarh Sadar police station area. The police personnel were en route to Taranagar to attend an election meeting when the accident took place. The victims were identified as ASI Ramchandra from Khinvsar police station, along with constables Kumbharam, Suresh Meena, Thanaram, and Mahendra.
The Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Ashok Gehlot, expressed deep condolences for the lives lost in the tragic accident. In a statement, he said, "Early this morning, sad news was received about the casualties of policemen in a vehicle accident in Sujangarh Sadar area of Churu.
