According to the information received, an encounter took place between the police and the Naxalites in the forest of Kandla, a dependent village of village Panchayat Khandapadi, located about 15 km from the Naxal-affected Lanji area of ​​Balaghat district. In the encounter, the police have killed 3 hardcore Naxalites of Vistara Dalam Platoon 56 and Dadeksa Dalam. Seeing the soldiers getting heavy, other Naxalites fled taking advantage of the forest. On searching, the bodies of 3 Naxalites were found. The jawans are still present in the forest. The forests of Dongargarh and Gandai-Salhewara in Rajnandgaon district of Chhattisgarh are adjacent to it.
