DSSSB TGT Vacancy 2024: Registration Opens Today; All You Need to Know!
The Delhi Subordinate Service Selection Board (DSSSB) is kicking off the registration process for the DSSSB Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) Recruitment 2024 today. The registration window will remain open until March 8 at 11:59 pm. Those interested in applying for these positions should visit the official website at dsssbonline.nic.in.
This year, DSSSB aims to fill 5,118 vacancies for TGTs across various subjects including Maths, Social Science, Natural Science, Physical Science, English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu, Punjabi, and Drawing. These vacancies are available in UT government schools, local bodies, and autonomous bodies.

Applicants must meet the following criteria:
Hold a bachelor's degree (honours/pass) or equivalent from a recognized university in the relevant subject with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks, along with proficiency in one of the school subjects.
Possess a degree in education and a working knowledge of Hindi.
Have qualified the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education.
Candidates from SC, ST, and PwD categories will receive relaxation in the minimum 45% aggregate marks requirement. Additionally, those with a postgraduate degree in the relevant subject will also receive relaxation from the minimum 45% marks criterion.
Applicants must be under 32 years of age to apply for DSSSB recruitment, with an upper age limit of 40 years for female candidates. Age relaxation will be provided to candidates from reserved categories.
Application Fee: Candidates applying for DSSSB TGT recruitment are required to pay a registration fee of ₹100. However, female candidates and those belonging to SC, ST, PwBD, and ex-serviceman categories are exempt from paying any application fee. Payment can be made via debit card, credit card, or net banking.
Exam Pattern: The DSSSB TGT recruitment exam will comprise two sections: A and B, each containing 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), totaling 200 questions. Candidates will have 2 hours to complete the exam.
