Shaw is the second Indian to score more than one double century in List A cricket, following captain Rohit. Additionally, opener Shaw is the first cricketer from India to ever score a double century in a One Day Cup match.
Shaw has succeeded in surpassing Ollie Robinson's 206-run performance (against Kent 2022) to become the One-Day Cup's leading individual run-getter. The opening batsman for India has the third-best collection of boundaries in a single List A innings.
He is the first batter to record a List A double hundred in two different countries. The DC superstar is also the first batter to hit double tons for Mumbai and Northamptonshire, two teams on the List A.
