Patna: The Patna High Court has given a decision to ban the caste census in an interim order. Along with this, the High Court has ordered to stop the counting with immediate effect. After which the work of the second phase of caste census has stopped. At the same time, after this decision of the court, political rhetoric has also started on this. The BJP has accused the Nitish Kumar government of the state that the government could not properly present its stand on this issue in the court.

Lalu Yadav has written in a tweet that caste census is the demand of the majority of the people and it will continue to happen. Why is the BJP afraid of counting the majority of backward castes? The one who is against caste enumeration is against equality, humanity, equality and is a supporter of high-low, poverty, unemployment, backwardness, social and economic discrimination. The people of the country have understood the devious trick and cleverness of the BJP on the caste census.

Let us inform that, while Lalu is clearly writing it as a caste census, his son and Deputy CM of Bihar Tejashwi Yadav refused to accept it as a census and called it a survey. Tejashwi Yadav said on Thursday (May 4) after the order of the Patna High Court that this is not a caste census, but a caste-based survey. This is neither the last nor the first survey of the government. Tejashwi had said that this survey was not about caste, but for everyone. Whereas, the court said that the right to conduct caste census rests with the Central Government and not with the State Government.
