New Delhi:' A sub-inspector of Delhi Police, identified as K Ganesh, was found dead in his flat in east Delhi, in what appears to be a case of suicide. Ganesh, who hailed from Telangana and served at the Madhur Vihar police station, was discovered deceased by family members around 2 am on Sunday. Concerned by his lack of response to their calls, they promptly alerted the authorities.
Upon receiving the distress call, local police rushed to Ganesh's residence in Madhur Vihar. They found his apartment locked from the inside and had to climb to the first-floor balcony to gain access. Peering through a window, officers spotted Ganesh's lifeless body with a pistol nearby. Preliminary assessments suggest that he took his own life using the firearm.
While investigations are ongoing, no suicide note has been recovered from the scene. Authorities have called in crime and forensic teams to gather evidence and ascertain the circumstances surrounding Ganesh's tragic demise.
