New Delhi: The Delhi Police has taken action in the case of molestation of a student of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) in the national capital. On the complaint of the student, a case has been registered against the accused at Vasant Kunj North police station in Delhi. Police have taken action against the accused under sections 354 and 509 of the IPL. In a tweet, the Delhi Police said, "Following a complaint of molestation of a third-year JNU student in Vasant Kunj North, u/o S 354 A / A case has been registered under 509 IPC. The accused is a classmate of the victim, it has been included in the investigation. Further investigation is going on.''

According to the report, a group of girl students have claimed that the student had told her that the accused touched her inappropriately and forcibly caught her from behind without her consent. He is constantly doing these kinds of things. The complainant student says that she has come to know that the accused has tried to defame her. However, this information has come to her through her classmates. It may be recalled that earlier the ABVP had mentioned the name of the accused as Prasanna Raj. Issuing a statement, the ABVP had said that the victim had sought help from Aishe Ghosh over the incident, but Ghosh cleverly prevented the victim from complaining to the ICC and asked her to approach the non-existing GSCASH.

The ABVP had claimed that the accused Prasanna was a member of the Left's student wing, the All India Student Association (AISA). Which the senior comrades have come to save. That is why so far, no Left has reacted to it. According to the ABVP, so many cases of sexual assault have come to light against the people of AISA that even if they are renamed as 'All India Sexual Assaultors' by changing the name of AISA to 'All India Sexual Assaulters', there should not be any kind of objection.
