New Delhi: A 13-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped and raped in Delhi. On the complaint of the victim, the police arrested the accused. The incident took place in South Delhi's Greater Kailash area. The victim is being counselled by the police. The victim's family says that the accused should be given the strictest punishment.
According to the report, the family alleged that the accused lured their daughter with him and raped her. The police had registered a case of rape under the POCSO Act on the complaint of the family. The police arrested the 19-year-old accused Jitendra Kumar who is now being questioned. In fact, when the girl went missing, there was a stir in the family and a complaint was lodged at the police station. When the police scanned the CCTV footage of the area, it was found that a 19-year-old youth was taking the girl with him in a suspicious condition.
After which the accused was identified with the help of CCTV footage, then it was found that the accused is Jitendra Kumar, a resident of Maharajganj in Uttar Pradesh. After which the police started searching for him, then it was found that he had gone to his house in Maharajganj, UP. Then the Delhi Police arrested him.
