New Delhi: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Friday (September 16) evening arrested senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and MLA Amanatullah Khan on charges of corruption. Now the Delhi Police has also arrested Hamid, a close aide and business partner of the AAP MLA. Hamid, considered very special to Amanatullah, has been arrested under the Arms Act.
During the ACB raid, arms and ammunition were recovered from Hamid's house. According to the information received, weapons and cartridges were found from Hamid's house during the ACB raid. It is being told that Hamid did not have the license of the recovered weapon. At the same time, the weapon was also found from the house of Kausar, another close aide of Amanatullah, he also did not have a license. Delhi Police is now conducting raids to arrest Kausar after Hamid.
Let me tell you that a day ago, the ACB raided 5 locations including the residence of Amanatullah Khan, in which it is being said that some diaries have also been recovered, in which details of money transactions are also being seen. Amanatullah Khan has been kept at the civil lines police station. It is being told that Amanatullah Khan will be produced in the Rouse Avenue Court later in the day and his custody will be sought.
