New Delhi: A Bangladeshi gang was carrying out a series of thefts in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, adjacent to the national capital Delhi. Kavi Nagar police have busted the gang and arrested four people, including the kingpin. Who has confessed to committing 17 thefts in Kavi Nagar, Madhuban Bapudham and Mussoorie police station areas within just one month. Police have recovered gold and silver ornaments, Rs 1.07 lakh and locks and latch cutting tools from the possession of the accused.
Police said four persons, including two sarafs, who were part of the gang, are still absconding, in search of whom raids are being conducted. For the past few days, these Bangladeshi thieves had started a series of thefts in Kavi Nagar, Mussoorie and Madhuban Bapudham police station areas. Three incidents in one night had added to the woes of the police. In some places, thieves were recorded in CCTV cameras, on the basis of which the police were engaged in their search. Superintendent of Police City Nipun Agarwal said the gang was traced after a lot of hard work.
He said that four miscreants, including the kingpin of the gang, have been arrested. The accused have been identified as Mughaleshur, a resident of Jhuggi in City Park police station Jahangirpuri police station, Aftab, a resident of Mangalbazar Chowk Jahangirpuri, Karim alias Lalla and Mursaleen, a resident of G-Block Jahangirpur. Mugleshur is the kingpin of the gang. Ghulam Mustafa, Firoz, Sharoon and Rajaram, a resident of Bhalswa Dairy Delhi, all residents of G-Block Jahangirpuri, who are associated with the gang, are said to be absconding. Of these, Firoz and Rajaram work to buy stolen goods.
Let me tell you that, in Jahangirpuri, where all the thieves live, the procession taken out by Hindus at the time of Hanuman Jayanti was attacked. In such a situation, it cannot be denied that Bangladeshis may also have a hand in the attacks on Hindus. In Jahangirpuri, when the administrative staff went to remove the encroachment, leaders of all political parties sat on a dharna calling the anti-encroachment action an anti-Muslim action. Even the Supreme Court was ordered to stay the bulldozer action.
