New Delhi: A sensational case of murder has been reported from the capital of Desh, Delhi. A woman was stabbed to death in front of her children in southwest Delhi's Sagarpur area on Thursday. After committing the murder, the accused fled from the spot. It is being told that the woman and the accused knew each other beforehand.

The police officer has told that we received a PCR call at Sagarpur police station at around 2 pm that a woman has been stabbed. We reached the spot immediately. The victim was taken to the hospital, where doctors declared her brought dead. Police further said that the CCTV footage from the day of the incident showed that the accused was following the woman while she was on her way home with her children. At around 2.10 pm, the accused stabbed her and fled the spot.

Meanwhile, a preliminary investigation by the police revealed that the deceased and the accused were neighbours earlier. However, the cause of the murder is not yet known. Police have registered a case of murder in this regard. Police are trying to identify the accused and trace him. Further investigation into the matter is underway.
