Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal highlighted the Delhi government's commitment to the ideals of 'Ram Rajya' during the Republic Day celebration. He emphasized the government's efforts to provide quality education, healthcare, pensions for seniors, continuous power supply, and free water. Kejriwal spoke positively about the recent 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony at the Ram temple in Ayodhya, expressing pride and happiness felt worldwide.

Addressing the State Level Republic Day function at Chhatrasal Stadium, Kejriwal remarked on Lord Ram's inclusive values, contrasting them with the present societal divisions based on caste and religion. In a subtle critique of the Central government, he questioned the effectiveness of aspiring for a $5 trillion economy if the financial benefits don't reach the country's poor. Kejriwal stressed the importance of wealth distribution, cautioning against concentrating vast sums in the hands of a few individuals.

The Chief Minister pointed out the widening wealth gap over the last 75 years, stating that the Delhi government's approach aligns with the concept of 'Ram Rajya,' which includes addressing inflation. He cited central government reports noting Delhi's minimal price rise, emphasizing the need to tackle inflation for a society to truly embody the principles of 'Ram Rajya.'

Kejriwal also underscored the government's focus on ensuring the safety of women in the national capital. Despite the Delhi Police not being under their control, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) continues its efforts to address and improve women's safety issues in Delhi.
