Saharanpur: The body of a couple from two different villages of Saharanpur in the country's largest state Uttar Pradesh has been found hanging from a tree. The police have sent both the bodies to Saharanpur district hospital for post-mortem. It is being said that a minor girl, a resident of village Bohadpur under the Nagal police station area, had eloped with her boyfriend, a resident of Rasoolpur Kheri.

The same family members say that both of them escaped about 15 days ago. The case was reported at Nagal police station on September 4. Late on Tuesday evening, Biharigarh police received information that the bodies of two young men and women were found hanging from a tree in the forest of Mohand. The police, who reached the spot, immediately removed both the bodies from the tree and gathered information.

After reading the letter, both the bodies were sent to the district hospital in Saharanpur for post-mortem and an investigation has been started. SSP Dinesh Tada said that both of them were absconding from the house and the girl's side had lodged a complaint against the boy at Nagal police station, according to the police, the case seems to be of suicide, and both the bodies have been identified.
