Betul: Due to fog, a speeding car collided with a tree in Betul district of Madhya Pradesh on Thursday morning. Five persons have died in this accident. One is serious, who has been referred to Bhopal hospital. The accident happened on the Betul-Indore National Highway. A car rammed into a mango tree near Jogli Sugar Mill, 6 km from Chicholi. Three people died on the spot in the accident. One died due to treatment in the hospital and one died on the way to Bhopal. Those killed in the accident belong to two families.
In fact, some people of Betul's three villages Bhadus, Goregaon and Amla had gone to take part in the marriage organized in Temagaon of Harda district. While returning from marriage, his car collided with a tree near Jogli village on the Betul-Indore National Highway. On receiving the news, three bodies trapped in the car were pulled out with the help of police and ambulance.
Raju and Rita Chadhokar and Anil alias Golu and Hemlata Ghodki died in the same accident. The Ghodki couple's son Lucky Ghodki also died in the accident. Actually, Hemlata Ghodki and Deepak Kumbhare were referred to Bhopal. Hemlata Ghodki died while being taken to Bhopal. Chicholi police station in-charge Ajay Soni said that the matter is being investigated. Prima facie it seems that the car was going at high speed. At that time the front would not be visible due to fog and the car would have gone out of control and hit the tree.
