Now the Leader of the Opposition in the state is being caught committing misdeeds. The latest case has come from the Maharani area of ​​Udaipur, where Communist Party (Marxist) (CPM) leader Shamim Ahmed has been arrested for attempting rape.
Sanjay Mishra, the OSD of Tripura CM Viplab Dev, said that the real face of CPM has been revealed after this incident. He said that Shamim Ahmed attempted to rape an 8-year-old minor girl, after which the police arrested him. It is alleged that Shamim Ahmed greedily lured the girl and then took her to Eco Park. While there he attempted to rape the girl but was later caught.
Shamim Ahmed is the leader of 'Student Federation of India (SFI)', which is the student union of CPI (M). An FIR has been lodged against him under sections 354 (molestation or harassment of a woman) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Panel Code and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act, 2012, (POCSO) Act.
