Jaipur: Ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections in Rajasthan, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) unveiled its third list of candidates, featuring 58 names. The BJP, aiming to regain power in Rajasthan after losing to the Congress in the 2018 Assembly polls, has included seven women candidates in this list.
Notably, two Congress turncoats, Subhash Meel and Darshan Singh Gurjar, who recently joined the BJP, secured poll tickets from Khandela and Karauli constituencies, respectively, after being denied tickets by the Congress. Uday Lal Dangi, a leader from the Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLP) who also switched to the BJP, received a ticket from the Vallabhnagar seat.
