Bhopal: Today is 19th February and on this day the birth anniversary of "Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj" is celebrated. On this day, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was born in Shivneri fort. Today, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chauhan pays tribute to him through a tweet. He wrote in the caption of his tweet, "Founder of Hindu Swarajya, rich in courage and valour, the warrior who fought with Mughals, a humble tribute to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on his birth anniversary, a great ruler and brave warrior I will be remembered for ages.


In addition to this, Madhya Pradesh's Home Minister Narottam Mishra has also tweeted and has paid homage on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. He said, "Hundreds of salutes on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the great warrior of Maratha Empire, the mighty warrior, the flag bearer of religion and nationalism and the symbol of good governance."


The name of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj has been written in the pages of Indian history in golden letters. Everyone knows about his pride saga. He was a great warrior. He was fearless and courageous since childhood. It is said that in the year 1674, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj laid the foundation of the Maratha Empire, and he defeated the Mughal army many times during his lifetime.
