Bhopal: After the Habibganj railway station in Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh, another railway station is now going to be renamed. State CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan has announced that the Patalpani railway station in Indore will be renamed as Tantia Mama railway station. CM Chauhan tweeted, 'Tribal Pride, Mama Tantia Bhil's Sacrifice Day is on December 4. The bus stand and Patalpani railway station in Indore at a cost of Rs 53 crore will be named after Tantia Mama'.
CM Shivraj said in the closing front of Tribal Pride Week, 'Rani Kamalapati's kingdom was fraudulently won by friend Mohammad Khan. Rani sacrificed her life but did not accept subjugation. In her name, PM Modi has honoured the tribal community by naming Habibganj railway station Rani Kamalapati.' CM Shivraj Singh said, "I am blessed that I bow to you at Raj Gondwana of 52 forts. The kings of our Gondwana served the subjects and hundreds of years ago, they worked excellently in water management to guide the world.''
Shivraj Singh attacked the Congress saying that the Congress did not respect the tribal heroes, taught the wrong history. Heroes like Bhagwan Birsa Munda, Tantia Mama, Shankar Shah, Raghunath Shah, Rani Lakshmibai were ignored. We will respect their pride and contribution.
