Dehradun: According to the latest information regarding the Chardham Yatra of Uttarakhand, the dates for the closing of the doors of the four Dhams have been fixed. The doors of Badrinath Dham will be closed on November 17, while the doors of Kedarnath Dham will be closed on November 3. Similarly, the doors of Yamunotri Dham will also be closed on November 3 and the doors of Gangotri Dham will be closed on November 2. So far, about 40 lakh devotees have visited the Chardham.

Recently, the Uttarakhand government has taken an important decision in the temple complexes of Chardham. Under this, making social media reels and videography within a radius of 50 meters of the temple complexes of the four Dhams has been completely banned. Uttarakhand Chief Secretary Radha Raturi issued this order. However, there is no restriction on devotees carrying mobile phones during the journey. Kedarnath Dham, which is located in Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand, is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva and Panch Kedar. Every year lakhs of devotees come here for darshan. The Shivlinga in this temple is self-manifested, which further increases its religious importance.

Badrinath Dham, which is one of the major Dhams among the Char Dhams, is located on the banks of the Alaknanda River in the Himalayan mountain ranges. This temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Nara and Narayana are worshipped here. The Badrinath temple is divided into three parts: Garbhagriha, Darshan Mandap and Sabha Mandap. There are 15 idols in this temple complex, of which the idol of Lord Vishnu is the most prominent.
