Live Updates on Chandrayaan-3's Lunar Orbit: The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has reported that Chandrayaan-3 is steadily nearing the Moon, and the upcoming lunar orbital maneuver is set to occur between 11:30 am and 12:30 pm IST on Monday.

"Drawing even closer to the Moon's surface, Chandrayaan-3's orbit has been adjusted to 174 km x 1437 km following a successful maneuver performed today. The next operation is planned for August 14, 2023, between 11:30 and 12:30 Hrs. IST," announced ISRO on Twitter.

Chandrayaan-3 follows in the footsteps of Chandrayaan-2, with the objective of demonstrating adeptness in achieving a secure lunar landing and navigating the lunar landscape.

On August 10, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) disclosed that the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft has drawn nearer to the Moon's surface following yet another orbit reduction maneuver. At present, its Apolune (farthest point from the Moon) is situated at a distance of 1,437 km.

Having initially entered lunar orbit on August 5, the Indian spacecraft is anticipated to descend to a 100 km orbit by the upcoming week, as stated in an official communication by ISRO.
