New Delhi: A unique incident is coming out from Delhi, where Delhi Police has arrested the criminals who carried out the robbery incident on the lines of Bollywood film Special-26. Posing as Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) officers, the criminals looted a jeweler's shop in the floor market. Delhi Police's crime branch, which has been probing the incident since the incident, has arrested 4 gang criminals on Wednesday. 

Harpreet Singh, who works as a jeweler in Delhi's Farsh Bazar, told the police that he runs a jewelery shop on the ground floor of his house. On the morning of 17th April suddenly 6 to 7 people enter his shop in which a woman was also involved. As soon as he entered the shop, he called himself a CBI officer and said that he has information that illegal gold business is done here. The criminals announced that if the shopkeeper wanted to compromise with them, he would have to pay one crore rupees. Harpreet mistook these fake CBI officers for real and gave them Rs 40 lakh in cash and half a kilo of gold. When the criminals saw that the CCTV camera was installed in the shop, they took the digital video recorder (DVR) of the CCTV camera with them while leaving. Harpreet got suspicious because of the act of taking the DVR with him and then lodged an FIR in the Delhi Police station. 

Thereafter, the police examined the footage of the CCTV camera around Harpreet's shop and thereafter, based on the footage found in the CCTV, the police identified the criminals. Due to this, the police came to know that among the criminals Sandeep Bhatnagar, Pawan Gupta, Yogesh Kumar and Himanshu are hiding in Delhi itself. Thereafter, the police raided and arrested all four. When the police interrogated the four, they told that they had seen the Bollywood film Special 26 several times. He conspired to loot on the lines of this. The leader and mastermind of this gang was Sandeep Bhatnagar. The police recovered Rs 11 lakh in cash, around 100 grams of gold and 5 mobile phones from the criminals. Apart from this, the police have also seized a walkie talkie set and two DVRs from them. At present, the police is on the lookout for two more criminals.
