In a traffic accident in Andhra Pradesh's Anantapur district on Friday, at least two people were killed and 15 others were injured. A Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) bus rammed into a parked vehicle in Miduthuru village in Anantapur's Peddavadugur mandal while travelling from Bangalore to Hyderabad, police said.
In the collision, the bus and truck drivers were killed, and 15 others were injured. The cops arrived quickly and began a rescue and relief mission. The injured were taken to a private Anantapur hospital. G.V. Reddy, a TSRTC bus driver, and Sakatram Yadav, a Bihar native, were identified as the deceased. The cops filed a report and began their investigation.
Meanwhile, two people were murdered and eight others were injured in a separate accident in Kurnool district.
The accident occurred when a car collided with a road divider near Nannur in Orvakallu mandal after the driver lost control of the vehicle, police said. The car on its way from Tirupati to Telangana's Mahabubnagar. The injured were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
