JAIPUR: The Rajasthan State Assembly’s Budget Session will start on January 31 and will be held in two parts.

Speaker Vasudev Devnani announced on Monday that the Raj Bhawan has already sent out the official notice for the session.
Governor Haribhau Bagade will give the opening speech at 11 am on January 31.
The discussion on the vote of thanks for the Governor’s speech will take place on February 3, 2025.
On February 7, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma will respond to the debate.
The second phase of the session will begin on February 19. On this day, Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari, who is also the Finance Minister, will present the state budget for 2025–26.
The Rajasthan government is also planning to introduce a law to regulate coaching centres and prevent student suicides. A bill regarding this will be presented in the upcoming session. The state government shared this information with the Rajasthan High Court on Monday.Â
This decision comes after a petition filed in 2016 about the suicides of coaching students. Advocate General Rajendra Prasad told the court that the state government is working on a law to regulate coaching centres and is making progress on all aspects. The government aims to present the bill in the upcoming assembly session.Â
As per reliable info, an iPad has been installed on each seat in the House of the MLAs. Moreover, software and applications used in the National e-Vidhan Application (NeVA) project are being utilized for the first time in all the departments and Parlliaments in the state.
