A devastating incident occurred near Badrinath Highway in Rudraprayag on Saturday when a tempo traveller carrying nearly 17 passengers fell into a deep gorge. According to breaking news report, State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) officials and police personnel swiftly responded to the scene to commence rescue operations.
Following the accident, two individuals who sustained injuries were promptly transported to the hospital, while efforts are ongoing to rescue the remaining passengers. The news agency has shared a video from the accident site on social media, provided by the SDRF.Â
