Rajasthan: 8 coaches of Bandra Terminus-Jodhpur Suryanagari Express train derailed near Pali in Rajasthan in the early hours of Monday, January 2.
Chief Public Relation Officer said that no casualties have been reported. Originating from Bandra Terminus, the train was en route to Jodhpur.
The train derailed between Rajkiawas-Bomadra section of Jodhpur division at 3.27a.m today, the official said, adding that those 11 coaches were impacted due to derailment of the express train.
General Manager-North Western Railway and other high officials are monitoring the state of affairs in the control room at the headquarters in Jaipur, said the CPRO.
More than 10 coaches were impacted due to the derailment, he said, adding that buses have been arranged for stranded passengers so that they can reach their respective destinations.
For the stranded passengers, buses have been arranged so as to enable them to reach their destinations. An accident relief train has also been sent from Jodhpur by Railways.
