THANE: Hoarding Collapse in Maharashtra’s Thane District: No Injuries Reported - On Friday morning, a large hoarding collapsed in the Thane district of Maharashtra, falling on three parked vehicles. The incident occurred around 10:30 am at the bustling Sahajanand Chowk in the Kalyan area, according to official reports.
Kalyan Tehsildar Sachin Shejal confirmed that the hoarding fell onto the vehicles parked underneath it. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported so far.
A rescue team was promptly dispatched to the scene, and operations are currently underway. Shejal assured that the possibility of anyone being trapped beneath the debris has been ruled out.
