The Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) National President, JP Nadda, unveiled the 'Sankalp Patra' (manifesto) for the upcoming Rajasthan assembly elections in Jaipur. The event witnessed the presence of several key figures, including Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi, Rajasthan BJP President CP Joshi, Arjun Ram Meghwal, Vasundhara Raje, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Satish Poonia, and others.

Named 'Aapano Agranee Rajasthan Sankalp Patr 2003' (our leading Rajasthan manifesto), the Sankalp Patra outlines significant resolutions aimed at enhancing citizens' lives:

PM Kisan Samman Nidhi: A proposal to raise financial aid for farmers under this scheme to Rs 12,000 annually.

Laho Incentive Scheme: A support system for underprivileged families through a savings bond for newborn daughters, maturing at different stages to provide financial assistance.
Direct Benefit Transfer: Economic aid of Rs 1,200 annually for students from financially weaker families to acquire school essentials.

Bhamashah Health Infrastructure Mission: A plan to invest Rs 40,000 crores in expanding and modernizing health facilities.

Special Investigation Team: Formulation of a team to swiftly probe paper leak incidents and take strict actions against culprits.

JP Nadda emphasized the BJP's commitment to this manifesto, contrasting it with other parties for whom, he claimed, manifestos were mere formalities. He stressed that for the BJP, the manifesto is a developmental roadmap and not just words on paper.

He stated, "The 'Sankalp Patra' is not merely ink on a page; we are dedicated to realizing these promises. Our history attests that we fulfill what we pledge."

Nadda criticized the Congress Party's performance over the past five years, highlighting concerns about corruption, disrespect towards women, farmer neglect, high electricity rates, and increased VAT on petrol and diesel.

Regarding the forthcoming Rajasthan assembly polls scheduled for November 25, with vote counting set for December 3, the BJP, which secured 163 seats in the 2013 Legislative Assembly elections, formed the government. However, in the 2018 elections, the Congress won 99 seats while the BJP obtained 73 seats in the 200-member House. Gehlot eventually took the oath as CM with support from BSP MLAs and Independents.
