Jaipur: The Rajasthan High Court on Thursday pronounced its verdict in a money laundering case related to Robert Vadra's land purchase case in Kolayat, Bikaner. The court's decision came after the hearing on Wednesday on a petition related to Robert Vadra, his mother Maureen Vadra and middleman Mahesh Nagar ended. The Supreme Court on Monday dismissed a plea seeking interrogation of Robert Vadra and Maureen Vadra in the custody of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and lifted the stay on their arrest.  

Apart from dismissing the petition of Mahesh Nagar and others, the High Court has also given immediate relief while ordering the stay on arrest for two weeks. During this time the complainant can also appeal again. A single bench of Justice Dr. Pushpendra Singh Bhati of Jodhpur High Court has given this decision. Explain that the arguments of ED and Vadra's lawyers on this petition were completed on Wednesday and the court had reserved its decision.

Let us tell you that the court heard on Wednesday in the ongoing case against Robert Vadra and his mother Maureen Vadra regarding the land purchase and sale case in Bikaner's Kolayat. Both sides were heard in the court on Wednesday, after which the court reserved its decision till Thursday. Let us tell you that in this case, the court had stayed the arrest of all the accused including Vadra.

What is the whole matter:-

The ED has registered a case against Robert Vadra in the Bikaner land scam, whose probe pertains to the purchase of 275 bighas of land by the company in Kolayat area of ​​Bikaner's border district. At the same time, the ED had registered a criminal case of money laundering against Vadra in 2016 on the basis of an FIR lodged by the state police after a complaint was lodged by the local tehsildar. Please tell that this case of Vadra is pending in the Rajasthan High Court for almost 5 years, which has been heard more than 80 times so far. Earlier, apart from Sky Light Hospitality, Mahesh Nagar had challenged the ED investigation before a single bench of the court. At the same time, a petition was presented in the Rajasthan High Court on behalf of Robert Vadra, on which orders to stay the arrest were issued on December 19, 2018.
